Digging into vision is hard work. Pushing into the heart of this ministry, our calling, and our dream for this camp is so much heavier than I could have imagined. The pushing or the “drilling,” as our board chairman, with a sly grin, affectionately calls it, is an exhausting and sometimes frustrating process.

Halloween marks one year on Pender for us. It’s gone so fast and has been so full. The summer was amazing and there is so much to share about all that we discovered.

Something is at work, dramatically transforming and wondrously revealing. Something is at work, declaring with heaven shaking power, lifting hair on the neck, with goosebumps and faces wet with tears, faces pressed down into carpet creased with weeping, arms stretched out as far as ligaments can strain, and voices reaching as high as the heart can lift.
