Losing Sight of Land

The HEIGH FAMILY JOURNAL

GRATEFUL

We are so thankful. Knowing God is the greatest purpose of our lives and we are absolutely caught up in the wonder of discovering Him through community ministry here on Pender Island. We created this site to be a point of connection for the growing community that the Holy Spirit has been building. So, please connect with us and join with us in experiencing the Gospel.

STAY CONNECTED

Land mines. Two down.

This one time we were laying in the sand in Ucluelet and Kyle and Katie came out of the woods with pop and giant corn nuts. It was awesome!!

Walked Chesterman Beach and out to Frank Island. It’s a private island with two different properties on it. The owners stood on guard as the tourists grazed like deer around their homes. Weird. Tofino, you are incredible.

Bub’s MASSIVE bubble gum ice cream cone. Goats on the Roof is good for only two things: Massive ice cream cones and the giddy feeling I get watching goats eat on the edge of a roof with their rumps pointed toward eating patrons below. Other than that, the tacky creepy vibes are far too overwhelming.

Yes. We’re happy here. Ukee Dogs and Foggy Bean Coffee.

Thinking of you, @rmatchett, and all that you cherish. Love you, brother.
